Logo Design for Serpentine Salon

For her new salon in Chapel Hill, NC, my client envisioned an edgy jungle theme with rich greens, golds that would be woven throughout the location and the branding materials. All of it would highlight the salon’s focus on sustainability.

I experimented highlighting the S in Serpentine, came up with a few ideas on paper and sent them to my client. After two rounds of feedback she decided on the best version and I drew and colored it in Adobe Illustrator. I selected the colors based on her decor and wallpaper, leaning towards a sustainable and luxurious experience.

And here it is on the sign outside of her salon—it’s been a joy to see her salon come to life.
